Why This Exists

There are incredible open-source tools available to people with technical expertise, but most non-technical users never discover them. They default to Google, Microsoft, and Apple because it's simple. This project packages powerful self-hosted software into appliances that anyone can use—no technical knowledge required.

📸
Personal Photo Library
Like Google Photos but it's yours. Every photo in one searchable place with machine learning, smart albums, geo-tagging, and facial recognition. No storage limits except your hardware.
🎥
Video Server
Stream your personal video collection just like Netflix, but for your own media. Organized, searchable, and accessible from anywhere on your network.
📁
File Server
Your own Google Drive replacement. Store documents, spreadsheets, and files with access from anywhere. Full control, no sync limits.
🔌
Guided Setup
Plug it in, login with provided credentials. DHCP handles networking by default. Optional: upgrade to a compatible router for remote on/off capabilities.

It Works

This project has permanently solved photo organization in my home. My wife now has full access to every photo she's ever taken—no more digging through files on the computer or lost camera cards. Everything's searchable, organized, and accessible from any device. It's become an essential part of how we capture and enjoy memories together.

That's why I'm building these for others. If it solves this problem for us, it'll solve it for countless families and individuals who don't want to be held hostage by subscription services.

Project Timeline

IDEA
Concept
Bridge the Gap
Recognized that powerful open-source tools exist but are inaccessible to non-technical users. Started exploring the idea of packaging them into simple, plug-and-play appliances.
BUILD
Development
Hardware & Software
Built three test units pre-loaded with Immich (photo server), Jellyfin (media), and file storage. Designed guided onboarding so anyone can set it up without technical help.
TEST
Beta Phase
Real-World Validation
Three test users identifying real issues. Answering hard questions: What features matter? How much support do people need? What's the right price point? Not rushing to public launch.
SOON
Future
Public Launch
Once user questions are answered and market fit is validated. Building something people actually want, not just building for the sake of it.

What's Next

⚙️
Better Pricing Tiers

📊
Market Validation
Not launching until the fundamentals are proven. Will people actually buy these? What's their biggest pain point? Building data to make the right decision.
